Fragtastic

Saturday, August 18th, 2007

Mr Pilkington and I accosted the Down Under monthly (mostly) frag swap this weekend. The carnage was most intense, and I managed to limp away with only four new frags! I consider it a victory. Honestly, I don’t know where I’m going to keep putting these things.

First up, I could not resist this brilliant green Montipora capricornus. I plan on fragging it in half and mounting it to a couple of old pump clips to hang it on the back wall.

Day 340: Backup Crew

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

Mr. Pilkington and I pooled our allowance and ordered some cleanup crew packs from Foster’s and Smith. I’ve never mail ordered livestock before, and it was a good experience. It shipped on time, arrived on time, and nothing died even though it had been shipped from California to North Carolina. We pretty much got what we ordered too, along with a few extras of each item.
